Creating Your First Client
  1. Click Clients in the navigation bar
  2. Click the Add Client button
  3. Enter the client's name, date of birth, and province of residence
  4. Add contact information (email, phone)
  5. Set financial basics: annual income and risk tolerance
  6. Click Save — your client is now available across all modules
Running a Financial Calculation
  1. Select a client using the client selector in the navigation bar
  2. Navigate to the desired module (e.g., Retirement Analysis, Tax Calculator)
  3. The module will load with the selected client's existing data
  4. Fill in or adjust the calculation parameters
  5. Click Calculate to see the results
  6. Review the results and optionally generate a report
Generating a Professional Report
  1. Ensure your Professional Profile is set up (logo, designations, brand colors)
  2. Select a client and navigate to the module with the data you want to report
  3. Click the Generate Report button
  4. Review the report preview showing what data will be included
  5. Click Generate PDF to create the report
  6. Find your report in the Reports section for download
Using AI Insights
  1. Select a client with financial data already entered
  2. Navigate to any module and look for the AI Insights link
  3. The AI will analyze the client's data and stream recommendations in real-time
  4. Review the insights — they are specific to the client's financial situation
  5. Use Finn AI Agent for open-ended questions about a client's finances
  6. AI insights can also be included in generated reports
Processing Financial Documents
  1. Go to Document Processor and click Upload Document
  2. Select the client and choose the document type (bank statement, tax return, etc.)
  3. Upload the file — PDF, image, or spreadsheet formats are supported
  4. The AI extracts key data automatically (income, balances, transactions)
  5. Review the extracted data and correct any fields if needed
  6. Click Integrate to save the data to the client's profile
Setting Up Your Professional Profile
  1. Click your name in the top-right corner, then Professional Profile
  2. Enter your professional title and designations (CFP, CLU, ChFC)
  3. Add your business contact information and license number
  4. Upload your company logo and set brand colors
  5. Write a professional bio for the reports
  6. Set your preferred language and timezone under Settings
